Honey, a poem

oh, how swiftly
brilliance
eagerness
intensity

gets dulled by
shame

shimmering turns flat
brightness hides in shadows
elegance is muddled
love quashed

a call to (re)turn to
vulnerability and tenderness

again and again and again.
